Laura Catherine Schlessinger bore their (celebrity manager, Dr.
Lewis G. Bishop) only child, son Deryk Andrew Schlessinger (aka
Bishop), November 5, 1985, when she was 38. "My husband HAD a prior
family. And I figured I went through 12 hours of labor and a C-section.
I figured, I'm going to name this thing anything I want, and I said,
'Lew, do you have any problem with the last name Schlessinger? ' He
said, 'No." Schlessinger says.. thing? ............... The
Schlessinger/Bishop family(minus 3 children by first wife)values are
proud parents who believe torture=safe....

She always used to talk about how difficult it was for her to get
pregnant, months and years of trying, poor Laura, and how she went
through so much, much more than any other woman, of course. Typical
Laura lies or was she trying so hard to get pregnant for months before
they married since Deryk was born less than a year after they were
married? What's good for Laura is never OK for any other woman. Only
she can suffer and complain!!! Nobody else is entitled to do so in
Lauraland

I remember reading that quote about Lew's prior family and can only
imagine how she would rip a caller upside and down for saying such a
thing but again in typical "Laurahypocritical" fashion, it's OK for her
to do so. What a promotion of family values...."had a PRIOR
family".......once the kids are 18, they are past tense in her
world.......I can't wait until his kids write a book someday, what a
tell-all that will be!
